FRAMED Inkpressions of Messina, Italy
Another stop on the trip was the beautiful port town of Messina Italy. Like most of Italy you have a lot of the “old meets new.” There was something captivating about the block of apartments contrasting the stone and brick buildings that are hundreds of years old. This is a framed print from a drawing in my sketchbook. I captured the port city of Messina with the Messina Cathedral in the distance. You can also see the top of the bell tower which contains the biggest and most complex mechanical and astronomical clock in the world. All from the view of our ship. The original drawing is Pigma Micron pen on a Moleskine sketchbook. This drawing is printed on 5”x 7” Canon photo paper, true to scale to the original drawing and framed in a 8”x10” Black Picture Frame with white mat for wall mounting or tabletop.
